My inspiration is rooted in the antithesis of the opposite forces that surround us and define our existence: light and darkness, fragility and strength.
I am always looking for a balance between emptiness and solidity in an object, meaning the solid body is as important for visual perception as its surrounding space. My design spirit feels like a kid constantly trying something, making mistakes, learning from it and moving on. Therefore, my approach is always experimental and each piece became a story brought to life. The initial idea for each object is to show that even a small piece can produce a feeling of strength and articulate an emotion, even intrigue with its powerful mystery.
