The exhibition UNWEARABLES in Galerie The Window shows conceptual jewellery finding magic and strange beauty in the unexpected, the disregarded and the unconventional. The notes from Surrealism are obvious in the eclectic compositions, placed in the cross field of jewellery, fashion and sculpture. As an observer you are forced to re-think the concept of jewellery, the materials and the cultivation of these, as all of the works are made of recycled materials and given new life and expression through craftmanship. The works are representative for a new era and a new way of regarding value, relevance and jewellery.
