From architecture to sculpture, from sculpture to jewellry, for more than 20 years, Éric de Dormael has been playing with scales. Whether placed on the wall or against the skin, his works are born from a pencil stroke translated into volume through meticulous models. Miniature experiments with airy and luminous forms, these explorations find their own end in jewelry. On the occasion of the “Parcours Bijoux 2023”, and the opening of its jewelry department, the Negropontes gallery is hosting this unprecedented exhibition by Éric de Dormael where the artist’s sculptures and jewelry resonate in a variation of sizes and materials.
