How to participate in PARCOURS BIJOUX 2026?

Applications must be submitted between January 30 and June 15, 2025.
You must:

 

Content and format of the PDF file:

  1. It must include:
    1. a. A description of your project in a maximum of 1400 characters, including spaces.
    2. b. A presentation of the artists in a maximum of two pages for each artist, including:
      • 3 photos of recent creations (less than 5 years old) at 300dpi.
      • A CV or a biography of a maximum of 1400 characters, including spaces.
  2. The entire file must be in LANDSCAPE (horizontal) format to ensure it can be projected on a screen.
    Other formats will not be accepted and therefore cannot be submitted to the jury.
  3. It should be named as follows:
    project_name-project_holder_name-PB2026

 

A selection jury (composed of exhibition curators, museum curators, cultural actors) will meet in July 2026.

Your PDF file will be projected at that time.

We recommend paying attention to the quality of the layout and photos.

 


 

KEY DATES

  • PARCOURS BIJOUX 2026 will take place from October 1 to 31, 2026.
  • The call for projects is open from January 30 to June 15, 2025.
  • The selection jury will meet in July 2025.
  • Project leaders will be informed of the jury’s selection by the end of July 2025.
  • Final registration with the exhibition venue address, exhibition dates, and opening date must be communicated by February 28, 2026.
  • Participation fees must be paid by February 28, 2026.
  • The main event will take place from October 1 to 11, 2026: you are encouraged to plan your opening during these dates.
  • A celebration will be organized on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

 


 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

  • Jewelers, goldsmiths, artists, creators, designers, exhibition curators, researchers from around the world.
  • Individuals or groups.
  • Institutions (galleries, museums, schools, etc.) are welcome.

 


 

NATURE OF THE PROJECT

  • The project must involve author and/or creator jewelry.
  • The jewelry must be unique pieces and respond to a theme.
  • Creators must propose a project: exhibition, performance, book, conference, etc. The chosen theme and scenography must contribute to the project’s coherence.
  • Selected projects are primarily innovative, and all materials are accepted.

 


 

SELECTION CRITERIA

Projects are selected based on several criteria such as:

  • The originality and relevance of the project.
  • The quality of the jewelry created in the past by the project participants.
  • The coherence and quality of the application.
  • A complete response to admission conditions (completed form, uploaded PDF file, and €25 donation on Helloasso).

 


 

NON-ELIGIBILITY

Cannot apply for PARCOURS BIJOUX:

  • A brand self-exposing.
  • An individual with their own store and only exhibiting their work.
  • A place not open to the public such as a workshop.

 


 

VENUES

  • Projects must take place in public venues: museums, galleries, boutiques, cultural institutes, etc.
  • Projects can take place in public spaces. Participants are responsible for obtaining permits from the City of Paris.
  • You can submit a project application while still looking for a venue. However, if selected, the venue name and address must be communicated by February 28, 2026.
  • The PARCOURS BIJOUX organization reserves the right to exclude a project if the communicated venue does not meet the necessary conditions for a proper presentation and the image of PARCOURS BIJOUX.

 


 

PROJECT DURATION AND MAIN EVENT

  • The project must take place during the official PARCOURS BIJOUX dates from October 1 to 31, 2026. It can start before and/or end after.
  • The project duration is flexible. It can last from one day to several weeks.
  • It is strongly recommended to hold an opening, closing, or another event during the main event of PARCOURS BIJOUX: from October 1 to 11, 2026.

 


 

SELECTION

The jury is composed of personalities from the art, culture, and contemporary jewelry world. The jury is not required to justify its decision, which is final. In case of non-selection, the donation made to the association when submitting the application will not be refunded. Project leaders will be informed of the selection outcome by email at the end of July 2025.

 


 

COMMITMENTS

 

D’un bijou à l’autre:

  • The association D’un bijou à l’autre and its volunteer members are responsible for organizing and coordinating PARCOURS BIJOUX.
  • They are committed to fundraising to cover management, communication, and media relations costs. They are also committed to seeking public and/or private partnerships to enhance the visibility of the event and its participants.
  • Communication kits will be distributed in all participating venues: brochures with the event map, posters and flyers, flags to signal the venue.
  • Banners will be displayed on specialized websites and journals, and press articles will be produced for the event’s overall promotion.
  • A website with an interactive map details the entire PARCOURS BIJOUX; each event is accompanied by a text and a photo.
  • A communication campaign via social media before, during, and after the event is organized by the PARCOURS BIJOUX team. Each event benefits from a personalized post.
  • A digital communication kit will be sent to all project leaders.

 

Project leader:

  • The project leader who completes the application becomes the sole point of contact for PARCOURS BIJOUX.
  • This reference person – and they alone – will ensure the transmission of information between PARCOURS BIJOUX and the project participants as well as the venue.
  • If this transmission is not ensured, the designated project leader will be solely responsible.
  • They will be responsible for their event and must ensure its complete organization (scenography, curatorship, shipping costs, insurance, communication elements related to their event).
  • They will ensure the quality of the installation, the exhibited pieces, and the public reception.
  • They must ensure that the opening days and hours published/disseminated on various communication supports (printed or digital) are respected.
  • They commit to exhibiting in a venue open to the public in Paris or its close suburbs.
  • They must maintain the scenography in its entirety for the entire duration.
  • They commit, with the exhibition venue manager, to mention PARCOURS BIJOUX on their communication supports: our logo and graphic charter will be provided.
  • They commit to installing the PARCOURS BIJOUX flag on the exhibition venue window if the flag option has been chosen.

 


 

SALES

  • The availability or non-availability of the works presented within the framework of PARCOURS BIJOUX for sale is left to the discretion of each project leader.
  • The association D’un bijou à l’autre and PARCOURS BIJOUX do not intervene in any commercial relationship between participants, exhibition venues, and potential clients. No commission will be taken by the organizers.
  • Note that each project leader is required to be informed of the legal obligations related to the possible sale of works in France.

 


 

DONATION TO APPLY FOR THE CALL FOR PROJECTS

  • Participation in the call for projects implies support for the volunteer commitment of the association D’un bijou à l’autre to organize PARCOURS BIJOUX.
  • A minimum donation amount of €25 including tax must be paid on Helloasso when submitting the application between January 30 and June 15, 2025.
  • Your donation will not be refunded under any circumstances.

 


 

PARTICIPATION FEES ( ONCE YOUR PROJECT HAD BEEN ACCEPTED )

  • Your registration will be final when the participation fees have been paid by February 28, 2026, in a single payment (a link will be sent to you).
  • The participation fee consists of a fixed amount per event plus a price per participant:

Participation fee for 1 participant: €450 excluding tax, i.e., €540 including tax

From the second participant and for all others + €100 excluding tax, i.e., €120 including tax

Beyond 12 participants, the price no longer increases.

LEGAL NOTICE

  • Each project must ensure that the work presented during PARCOURS BIJOUX does not infringe any third party’s copyright or moral rights. The association D’un bijou à l’autre and PARCOURS BIJOUX cannot be held responsible for any legal action related to a presented work.
  • Following the project selection, participants grant PARCOURS BIJOUX the right to use the images and texts provided during the various stages of organization. Photographs and/or videos taken during PARCOURS BIJOUX may be used in various media for promotional purposes.
